Half of my tongue is still frozen after the dentist?...?

I had 2 cavities filled this morning on my lower left hand side.i received one numbing shot that was very painful and sort of "shocked" my tongue... but my dentist said that was ok... it's been a bit more than 12 hours and half of my tongue is still frozen.. my lip, cheek and gums are back to normal, its just my tongue... is this ok? will it be gone by morning?
